When it comes to digging for beats, it's hard to go past the likes of the number one soul brother and bonafide record fiend Pete Rock.
Pete's hefty stash of beats is undoubtedly aided by his stacks and stacks of wax. We're talking tens upon tens of thousands of records here, folks.
But as Mr Rock shows in a recent interview with the folks from Fuse, he's got a good handle on where he keeps his gems.
In the interests of sharing, Pete was kind enough to let the Fusers into the latest incarnation of his infamous basement studio recently to talk records for their Crate Digger series.
Pete pours through his collection for the camera in a loving manner, whether it's the Tom Scott record he used to turn out the masterful 'T.R.O.Y', or famous breaks from the likes of the Skull Snaps.
Special tip of the cap to Pete for showing a little grumpy streak too when the interviewer asks a question about the Snaps. Someone give that man a beard and a blog, quick smart!
