Freddie Joachim has been turning out quality remixes (not to mention original beats and pieces under his own name) for a few years now.
Last month, the Philippines-born, Californian-raised producer hit on the master plan to bundles all his recent re-workings together for you, the listening public - and the The Joachim Remixes Vol. 5 was born.
There's something for everyone on Vol. 5, with Freddie applying his soulful touch to tunes from the likes of Q-Tip, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Little Dragon, Corrine Bailey Rae and a bunch of others.
Wait, hang on a minute: if this is volume five, what happened to volumes one through four? No idea actually.
Rather than getting caught in an endless Google adventure before the day job takes over (it happens more than it should), I think I'll let someone else find the answer to that question. Go flying monkeys, do my bidding.
In the meantime, while you Google feverishly (it's okay... I know you're not really Googling), check out some of my Freddie favourites below, or download The Joachim Remixes Vol. 5 here.
