Quantic solo albums, the masterful Quantic Soul Orchestra... whatever it was, it got caned (as a recently rediscovered Quantic LP of yesteryear that has been beaten to shit can attest).
I've not really kept up with Monsieur Holland's output in the last few years, although after a bit of digital digging this afternoon I've learnt he's now got a dozen-odd albums to his name.
That's more than enough for a best of, innit? Well, yes, it is. Which is probably why The Best Of Quantic was released last year.
But for those of you who, like me, weren't paying attention, the funky president J.Rocc is on hand to get you back up to speed with The Best Of Quantic Mix, recorded to promote the compilation when it was released last year.
According to Holland's long-time label, Tru Thoughts, this mix "perfectly incorporates electronic, jazz, dub, hip-hop, cumbia and the many more styles to come from Quantic over the span of ten years."
